Tech Lead

Arc Worldwide Italia, is looking for a Technical Lead, for new and existing clients.
Technical Leads play a key role in managing client relationships as well as providing
overall technical leadership on projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

Technical Leads at Arc typically have mastery and deep knowledge of multiple technologies;

• Ability to manage development of all projects for an account;
• Ability to develop strategies for clients;
• Ability to interact and present in front of senior clients;
• Develop trust and close relationships with mid-level and operational client stakeholders and agency partners.
• Help senior agency colleagues drive new business and agency growth.
• Creative and marketing fluency. Advanced ability to negotiate and resolve occasional business conflicts
  and address organizational challenges and evolving accountability.

Required skills:

Technical Leads must demonstrable expertise in complex web development,
leading teams and managing client interaction.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Evaluate client briefs and work with Creative on pitches and proposals that both meet consumer and client expectations, but also have a clear path for successful execution within given constraints
• Architect with other senior developers the applications, given existing environmental constraints, and including any combination of technologies from front-end web and devices, services and database. Document proposed architectures for discussion with client.
• Manage day to day development on said architectures, cyclically revising solutions, negotiating with Creative, Production and Interaction Design teams, and guiding overall development progress towards successful deliverables.
• Help teams avoid pitfalls of inexperience such as unrealistic promises, excessive focus on perfection at the expense of "good enough", inability to scale application up with load, and lack of accounting for unexpected or unknown setbacks.
• Act as a senior level counterpart to client leadership, providing technical/creative strategic direction to the client. Digital strategy is increasingly dependent on technical expertise and experience, and the client will look to you to form brand and product strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven history of technology management experience working on large digital applications
• Experience with various projects types, including web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting
• Managed interdisciplinary teams of more than 5 people
• Hands-on knowledge of key programming languages, such as .NET, PHP
• Proven ability to combine technologies in novel ways
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Deep understanding of technical project management and work flow
• Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes
• Bachelorʼs in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Art Director (Turin office)

The position of Art Director requires a senior level creative talent, with a proven ability in the areas of narrative/conceptual, systematic, and graphic/aesthetic.
It is also a leadership position. Will report to Creative Directors and respond for overseeing the creation and production of designs solutions for clients..

Narrative / Conceptual – crafting stories and building brands through campaign level thinking and execution. Systematic – execution of the visual counterpart of an interaction designer. Building and crafting large complex systems and experiences from dynamic interfaces to large systematic websites.

Graphic / Aesthetic – master-level understanding of graphic design, typography and layout and how it extends through the digital realm and its counterparts.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Work with and mentor younger creatives on the team as well as build and push the work to new levels
• Executes top quality design work as necessary in alignment with the agency's high standards
• Participates constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications
• Partner with other disciplines where possible
• Develops oneself toward thorough leadership

Pre-Requisites:

• Exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients
• Ability to lead a teams and provide mentoring to jr team members
• Ability to produce cutting edge, creative, and exceptional design work
• An in-depth understanding of HTML, capabilities of web browsers, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash(animation and actionscripting)
• After effects and Maya knowledge is a plus
• Encompass knowledge of Flash and motion design as well as visual/interactive/motion design trends
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
• Partnering and concepting excellence

Qualifications:

• 5-7 Years of Experience design experience in web, advertising and typography
• Significant experience in Graphic Design
• Client interface experience

Developer (sede di Torino)

• Programmare interfacce web XHTML / CSS / JS

• Contribuire alle strategie di gara attraverso la realizzazione di demo.
• Gestire e mantenere i progetti realizzati.

Requisiti richiesti:

• Padronanza sviluppo in XHTML / HTML5 / CSS2 / CSS3 / Javascript / Ajax
• Comprovata esperienza in uno o piu framework (jQuery, MooTools, Prototype)
• Esperienza nello sviluppare soluzioni crossbrowser
• Conoscenza delle best-pratice di ottimizzazione SEO
• Approccio problem solving
• Background da programmatore
• Buona conoscenza dei processi di interfacciamento client-server
• Propensione al lavoro di gruppo

Saranno considerati elementi preferenziali:

• Esperienza sviluppo soluzioni mobile
• Esperienza di sviluppo lato server (.Net, ASP, PHP)
• Conoscenza del linguaggio SQL (SQL Server, MySQL)
• Curiosità, attezione per i particolari, passione per le nuove tecnologie
• Conoscenza base degli strumenti grafici necessari allo sviluppo (Dreamwever, Photoshop etc etc)
• Conoscenza scritta e parlata dell'inglese
